At Redeemer Classical School, we work to cultivate well-rounded students — to nurture not only minds, but also bodies and souls. As our school grows each year to include classes all the way through the 12th grade (in 2023), we’re excited to be able to expand our competitive athletic teams as well. Head of School Ron Hoch states, “Athletics provide a unique opportunity to teach students skills and develop character that will serve them well throughout their lives. Moreover, athletics afford new avenues for developing school spirit and community. We are delighted to be able to grow our athletic programming and work towards these goals.”
Starting in the Fall of 2021, Redeemer Griffins will take the field (or court) in the following sports:

Fall teams have already begun practice over the summer and look forward to representing their school in competition toward the end of August.
Redeemer is a member of the North District of the Virginia Association of Christian Athletics (VACA). Other schools included in our district: Fresta Valley Christian School, Mt. Carmel Christian Academy, Regents High School and United Christian Academy. Redeemer also plans to schedule games and matches against schools in the VACA Central District (Blue Ridge Christian School, Grace Christian School, Ridgeview Christian School, and Stuart Hall School).
