Oh, the places we go

Here at Redeemer Classical School, we use field trips as an essential part of the educational process. Teachers choose trips that specifically complement what their classes are studying in order to bring the curriculum to life. When students visit the Frontier Culture Museum or Woodrow Wilson’s Birthplace, they become more closely acquainted with the time period of history they’re studying. Or when a class attends a play at the American Shakespeare Center in Staunton, they get some sense of what it was like to watch a performance at the original Blackfriars in London.

Below you will find a sampling of the many field trips our students participate in that take advantage of living in the history-rich Valley and state, and having multiple universities as neighbors.
